In todays world and the technology of IoT remote monitoring has become very popular. And to be honest, in my opinion this can be very useful in many ways. Especially when it comes to monitoring your Aerobic Septic System. These systems are buried under ground, and usually in your back yard. So when you think about it, right below your feet and right below where your kids or grandkids play or your family gathers to spend time together and build memories is something more than a tank in the ground. This is where your wastewater treatment system is located. This is the system that is constantly treating your wastewater to a safe level to be cycled so that the water can safely be transferred or sprayed above ground and within the vicinity of where you live.
So it just makes sense that we would want to know if the system is functioning properly and being monitored at all times. We can do this for you. We can monitor all factors of your system components to assure that your system is functioning properly. We can alert you and your service provider ahead of time if something starts to get out of the normal safe operating range. Yes, you do have safety controls build in your basic control that will alarm you when a fault has occurred, but would it not be better to get an alert before a component has failed?
If you have Ozone or UV Disinfection, we can monitor that as well. We monitor the voltage and current of the device and alert if there is a decrease in current which relates to a failing or failed UV lamp.
As a service provider, remote monitoring can be a huge benefit. You don’t have roll a truck. You don’t have to pay your tech to travel to a job site to inspect a system. This save time, wear and tear on vehicles. This reduces cost of fuel, helps cut down on the amount of vehicles on the road. So many factors that come into play. Plus, when you do get an alarm you already know what the probable cause is and you can bring the correct part to the site and get the system up and running without having make multiple trips.
